This delicately sculpted dancer figure hand comes from the Senufo people. The figure was once a benevolent symbol of conduct for those who left, but also a crucial support both in ancestral commemorative rites and in initiations. It has preserved its authenticity, surface and smooth aged patina.
It is made of carved wood, covered with vegetable fiber.
